Personality Psychology Short Course
June 15-July 5, 2021
This three-week program is a unique course offered jointly by Dr. Maggie Stevenson from Kenyon College and Dr. Kristy Boyce from the Ohio State University. The program will include a three-credit upper-level course on personality theory, with credit from the University of Evansville. Because personality psychology has famous origins with Freud, the program also includes a tour of the Sigmund Freud museum, Freud's home in London!
Students will also learn about (and take) the ever-popular Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and learn about personality disorders, including Borderline and Narcissistic personality disorder. Students will leave the class with a better understanding of their own personality and the personality of others, which is enormously valuable for all career paths and for life in general.
