Harlaxton Site Visits
June 22-24, 2020
This site visit is for advisors, administrators, or faculty members wishing to gain a better understanding of Harlaxton College. This visit will focus on our academics, the student experience and the manor team. This visit is perfect for all study abroad advisors, study abroad administrators, faculty members, upper level administrators, and key university decision makers.
Applications due March 1, 2020. The program is provided on a space available basis.
Cost of this program is £250. This includes two nights’ accommodation, all meals, and all activities at the manor. Charges for additional guests sharing the same room will be £50 per person. Please inquire if a guest would require an additional room.
- June 22 - Arrive at the manor by noon for lunch. Conference begins at 1:30 p.m. Afternoon sessions to introduce the manor, Historic House Tour, and a session on Harlaxton programs. Evening drinks with students and Valedictory Ceremony.
- June 23 - Full day of sessions to include Harlaxton updates, Faculty reflections on the program, and student perspectives. Dinner at a local pub.
- June 24 – Conference concludes at noon for onward travel.
Participants will need to provide their own transportation to and from Harlaxton Manor. This is easily done through London’s Heathrow Airport and train via King’s Cross Station. Trains arrive at Grantham station where local taxi companies can take you onward to the manor.
